Ordering tickets

Tickets for the Bayreuth Festival may be ordered in writing from the Box Office. Please submit your order form by post. Unfortunately we are at present unable to accept e-mails and faxes.

Start of advance ticket sales:

Advance ticket sales for the 2011 Bayreuth Festival begins on 18 October 2010. All orders for tickets that have been received prior to that date will be deemed to have arrived on that date.

For first-time applicants:

If you are ordering tickets for the first time, we would ask you to apply in writing to the Box Office for order forms for the 2011 Festival by the end of September at the latest. The completed form should be returned to the Box Office by 18 October 2010.

For repeat orders:

If you have ordered tickets in the past, you will automatically receive the order form by post. Please return the completed form for the 2011 Festival to the Box Office by 18 October 2010.

Attention! If no invoice has been received by 31st January 2011, then the application has been unsuccessful. No further communication will be sent.

We would ask you to complete the order forms legibly and in full, so making it substantially easier for us to deal with your requests.

Please note that in the majority of cases we shall be able to deal with first-time applicants only after a period of several years as the number of applications far exceeds the number of seats available.

During the Festival itself, tickets that have been returned to the Box Office will be offered for resale:

When?

Between 13.30 and 16.00 on performance days.

Where?

Only at the Box Office.
